I love the bright and yellow Swedish smörblomma, and how cheerful it is. I wanted to draw this flower but also create a print that feels quite chic and both a modern and traditional way. I played with the color of the ribbons and thought that black and white really makes this print feel very classy, and also included one of my favourite Swedish birds called the Kungsfågel. I think this print would like great as a textile print for both fashion and decor, possibly also as a wallpaper design or for paper products.
