Every summer, I make a midsummer wreath. Swedish girls and boys wear them in their hair throughout the whole Midsummer day celebration. This illustration captures what I think of when I hear the word Midsummer: a beautifully homemade midsummer wreath, a table full of loose flowers that are leftover from the making of it, and a beautiful ice cream and berry dessert.
