One of my favorite parts of Swedish culture, is Fika. Fika has become a way for Swedish people to romanticise life a little bit by taking some time during the day, to sit down and have some tea or a coffee paired with something sweet. I think Swedish pastries are particularly great because they have such a great balance to them and are often not too sweet. Some of my favorite and some of the most common sweet treats to have with fika are the cinnamon roll, a slice of Princess cake, a chocolate ball or Swedish Ballerina biscuits.
