This carrot motif was actually created for my A Very Bunny Christmas print, but I thought that it was so lovely that it deserved a print of it's own. One of the things that I love about illustrating is that you can take the smallest, simplest and most ordinary things in life and make them beautiful. A carrot might not be something that someone would stop to admire or look at in everyday life, but by drawing one in a very stylised way and turning into a print, it sheds light and beauty on this very simple and common vegetable.
