My imagination when it comes to illustrating seems to be never-ending and sometimes I worry that I´ll never have time to illustrate all of the things that I want to in this short time that we all have here on earth. But if there is one thing that I have illustrated from my imagination that I truly truly wish existed in real life, except for Sugarplum Manor or course, it would be these candy cane roses. How wonderful would it be to go to your local flower shop at the beginning of the holiday season, and ask the florist "I'd like a bundle of candy cane roses please" and have her respond "certainly, I´ll wrap some for you right away". How wonderful would it be if these roses adorned with irregular stripes in the shades of pink and red that look as if they have been painted onto it's leaves actually were a real product of nature. I know that they would be my favourite flower, right next to tweet tulips which almost feel like the same kind of flower/fabric hybrid that were created and put on this earth just for me.
