May your days truly be merry and bright. This stylish lady is preparing for her first holiday party of the season and the theme is candy canes. She is decorating her mantle piece with all of the prettiest things in her holiday decorations box that she just brought down from the highest shelf in her closet. She went out into town this morning and bought new candles and candy canes to decorate with, and now that she's back home she's positioning them on the mantelpiece and hanging them from a holiday garland in the ceiling tied with pearl string. With the fireplace cracking and the candles all lit, and as she admires her ornaments that she has missed ever since she wrapped them and put them away last year, she truly feels excited for the night and all of the days of celebration that are to come.
