Where do the Sugarplum faries from the Nutcracker live? In my mind I imagine that they live in the most perfect Victorian style holiday house, with white crown moulding and adorned edges that resemble icing all wrapped up in the perfect shade of Pink. I call this house Sugarplum Manor. It is a magical place that the faries have created for themselves, where the windows sparkle with fairy dust and with a surrounding porch wrapped all around the house that is covered in sugar coated plums. It is the kind of place where new things can appear all of a sudden because these faries have magic at their fingertips and they sprinkle the house with it. This house is as sweet and candy cane and as pretty as the inside of a French patisserie. With this print, I wanted to capture all of that in a Snowglobe, where this magical place can be on display constantly.
